This autumn, Crodeon attended two key fairs: Aquarama for water technology and Fructura for fruit growing, showcasing innovation, strengthening partnerships, and exploring how data-driven solutions can transform these two thriving industries.
These two topics, fruit and water, once again confirm that Reporter truly suits a wide range of sectors!
Aquarama: October
Aquarama Trade Fair in Leuven (Belgium) is an annual exhibition and conference on water technology and treatment. It features expert-led lectures, networking opportunities, and showcases of innovative products. We joined our trusted partners from Liquisens, who were present as they provide end-to-end water quality solutions using advanced IoT and algorithms.
We noticed that there were still plenty of opportunities in the flourishing water sector to modernise and to make more use of data. At Crodeon we already excel in our measuring and monitoring options for pressure, level, and flow, but with Liquisens' expertise in water quality measurement, we become a strong and complementary team.
We got to meet up with existing partners, but also engaged with new customers, sensor manufacturers and pump manufacturers. Aquarama proved to be an interesting fair, opening doors to many new business opportunities, locally and internationally.
Fructura: December
The Fructura Expo in Hasselt (Belgium) is the largest trade fair dedicated to professional fruit growers. It highlights the latest innovations in fruit-growing technologies and trends, while providing excellent networking opportunities for industry professionals.
This year's event proved to be a great success, allowing us to engage with many fruit growers eager to embark on their own data-driven journeys. Over the past few years, we've observed a noticeable shift as more agriculturalists have embraced modernisation, recognising the value of data to optimise their businesses and processes.
This positive move towards remote monitoring and individual data collection equips fruit growers with powerful tools to combat diseases, prevent frost damage, and gain deeper insights into their irrigation water usage. It is clear that data is now firmly on their radar.
As Co-Founder & CEO at Crodeon, Jonathan has a broad knowledge about how sensors are changing our daily lives. Over the past 7 years he has been talking to customers in many sectors, from agriculture to industry and everything in between. Jonathan knows the ins and outs of Internet of Things and what keeps our customers awake at night.
