However, manually checking your energy meters and jotting down every change is time-consuming and labour-intensive. A smart kWh meter connecting to a remote monitoring sensor device helps you automate this laborious task while also giving you live data insights!

This energy meter with Modbus protocol by EMU seamlessly connects with Reporter, our sensor module for plug & play remote monitoring. Thanks to our Modbus sensor adapter, the kWh meter’s readings get interpreted correctly without issue.

Crodeon Cloud

Reporter is a cloud-connected IoT module that streams its live data through the GSM network. A local internet connection becomes redundant, but sufficient coverage of the cellular data network is crucial. As Reporter keeps its eye on the latest changes in your energy consumption it can send out alarm notifications when needed.

The sensor device streams its data to the Crodeon Dashboard (a user-friendly web-app) in real time where this data gets logged. The Dashboard works in your favourite Internet browser on your pc, tablet, or smartphone. Data exports can be done as a csv file. Live data can be accessed 24/7. Changes in settings, measurement interval, or the alarm function, happen on the Dashboard.

Reporter comes with an API that can automatically integrate its measurements into third-party applications or your own software, allowing you to keep all your valuable data in one place.
