Easy data collection is key when you're trying to reduce the environmental footprint of your company.

This kit features hardware by EMU and Crodeon Technologies, made compatible using a Modbus sensor adapter to enable smooth plug & play installation. Rather than noting periodical manual measurements, this kit offers a high-end smart energy meter to automatically and remotely monitor your energy consumption. The meter is connected to Crodeon's sensor device called Reporter.

Reporter is an intuitive sensor module that streams its live data to the cloud (Crodeon Dashboard) where it automatically gets logged. The Dashboard is a browser-based web application that works in your browser of choice on your smartphone, pc, or tablet. The sensor module comes with a built-in alarm notification system that sends out messages when your set limits are exceeded. All live data can be viewed 24/7. All settings, measurement intervals, and the alarm notification system can be altered on the Dashboard.

Reporter connects to the cellular data network using 2G/4G. A local data network is therefore unnecessary. All Reporters come with API access to allow you to connect it to your own software or other third-party applications. Live measurement data gets seamlessly integrated this way.

Where to use the Energy Consumption Monitoring kit?

In factories and large (shared) buildings, kWh meters can be used to monitor energy consumption. This small act can have a huge impact as even the smallest energy savings can be big in an industrial environment.

The energy meter comes as a DIN-rail module and would therefore be installed in an electrical cabinet. Read our installation manual on installing Reporter in an electrical cabinet.

What is included?

This kit consists of a kWh meter by EMU, a Reporter by Crodeon, along with necessities like a sensor adapter with a short extension cable, a grid power charger, and a data subscription for one year.

If you want to buy additional sensors for your Reporter, you can add these separately. One Reporter fits four sensors at the same time. As the module is plug & play and pick & mix, any combination is possible.
