Get started with your own effortless level-measuring project with the VEGAPULS C 11 radar level sensor. Perfect for remote monitoring and remote measuring level of liquid and bulk goods where non-contact measurement is required. The level sensor can also be used for flow measurement in open channels or other industrial applications. Thanks to the threaded design, it can be secured tight so it won't come into contact with the medium you're measuring.
This radar level sensor for professional use now seamlessly connects to Reporter, our plug & play sensor device. Reporter is an IoT sensor module that streams its data to the cloud in realtime using the cellular data network (2G/4G). The cloud platform called the Crodeon Dashboard is where all data can be viewed (live or historical). Historical data logs can be downloaded by means of an Excel export (csv file).
Reporter has no buttons as all settings are personalisable on the Crodeon Dashboard, think alarm notifications, measurement intervals, etc.
Every Reporter comes with a REST API. This allows you to seamlessly integrate your measurement data into your own or third-party software for realtime data use.
Due to the high IP value this sensor can be used in a vast variety of situations to measure the level of liquids or bulk goods.
As the VEGAPULS C 11 has a higher power consumption we don't recommend using the sensor on a solar-powered installation, therefore the location you're measuring at should have access to grid power for continuous power supply.
For the official installation advice, we refer to the manufacturer's instructions. When mounting the device, keep a distance of at least 200 mm from the vessel wall. Read the installation manual (p11) for all details regarding installing the VEGAPULS C 11.
At Crodeon we trust in industry-leading technology, which is why we bundle our strengths with existing sensor manufacturers like VEGA. Thanks to our sensor adapter, almost any sensor can be made compatible with Reporter. This sensor uses the 4-20 mA Adapter.
This sensor emits a continuous radar signal through the antenna. The emitted signal is reflected by the medium and received as an echo by the antenna. The frequency difference between the emitted and received signal is proportional to the distance and depends on the filling height.

Reporter® requires a subscription of €180 /year to operate. Add this package to your cart when checking out. The subscription covers things like connectivity and use of the Crodeon Dashboard. Kits already include a 1 year subscription. Contact us if you only need the sensors without connectivity.
